EASTER CELEBRATION AT SHERWOOD FARMS

Thank you Kelly McCabe (owner of Faralyn), Elias and Ahnna Hindi and the Suranofsky family at Sherwood Farms for hosting a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt for the children at the Homeless Children’s Foundation and Youth Guidance. Sherwood Farms, Homeless Children’s Foundation and Youth Guidance are all grant recipients of the Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation. Kelly McCabe, one of Sherwood Farms’ clients took a special interest in the kids coming to the farm for the equestrian program and she wanted to be sure they had an Easter weekend to remember. 600 candy filled eggs ( and a few special golden eggs with money) were hidden in the pastures. In addition to tree climbing and egg hunting , lots of guests enjoyed face painting, egg dying, bunny petting and horse feeding . Hannah Hite , Executive Director at the Homeless Children’s Foundation said she was thrilled that the kids had such a wonderful event to attend as holidays in particular are very difficult for the families they serve.
