Fall 2026 Program Highlights

When you participate in our fundraising events, we can help more kids!

This Fall we are supporting 18 unique programs which will serve over 2,270 children. The programs include Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Cheerleading, Academic and Career development, Basketball, Equine, Gardening, Pickleball, Table-tennis and more! Here are some highlights of a few.

Fellowship Of Christian Athletes
Court Kingz
Hosted at Sebastian River High school

The Indian River County Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hosted a two-day community outreach basketball event featuring the Victory All-Star Ministry, a Christian basketball team similar in style to the Harlem Globetrotters. FCA intentionally made both events free to the public to ensure that cost was not a barrier to participation. The first event, held at the Gifford Youth Achievement Center, welcomed approximately 250 attendees, while the second event at Sebastian River High School drew more than 1,000 community members. The Mardy Fish Children's Foundation provided support as a Community Sponsor, helping FCA expand access to a positive, family-friendly event that encouraged community engagement and inspiration for local youth. We are pleased to be a part of an opportunity that brought together families from across Indian River County and made a meaningful impact on our community.

Indian River County Sheriff's
Explorer Post 556

Indian River County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 556 provides youth with hands-on, career-focused experiences in law enforcement through activities such as crime scene investigations, building clearing exercises, leadership development, conferences, and competitions. The program helps participants build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and valuable career skills. Because of our funding they are able to offer this programming free to all youth participants.

We congratulate the Explorers on their recent success at the Florida Sheriff's Explorer Association State Conference and are excited to continue supporting this outstanding program. We are proud to invest in opportunities that expose local youth to meaningful career pathways while helping them develop skills that will benefit them for years to come.

Environmental Learning Center

We are proud to partner with the Environmental Learning Center to provide scholarship funding that gives local children access to hands-on environmental education experiences they might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy. Through these scholarships, children from Title I schools, nonprofit organizations, and families with financial need can participate in activities such as canoeing, nature walks, lagoon exploration, aquaria discovery, and team-building programs. For many participants, it is their first opportunity to experience the Indian River Lagoon firsthand. By removing financial barriers, these scholarships help children stay active outdoors, build friendships, develop a deeper appreciation for the environment, and create lasting memories while learning about the natural world.
